Mr Mark Webb is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions, lower limb trauma, and sports-related injuries. He is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they enjoy, whether through advanced surgical techniques or non-operative (conservative) treatments.

Mr Webb provides personalised, evidence-based care, with a focus on joint preservation, sports surgery, and the management of complex injuries. He takes a collaborative approach, working closely with each patient to understand their needs and support informed decisions about their treatment.

He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine from University College London and has undertaken extensive training in the UK and overseas.

His specialist fellowships include:

  • Hip & Knee Arthroplasty, Knee Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at the Prince of Wales and Mater Hospitals, Sydney.
  • Training with Mr John O’Donnell at Hip Arthroscopy Australia.
  • The Complex Trauma Fellowship at St George’s University Hospital, London.
  • An International Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship in San Francisco (May 2019).

Since January 2019, Mr Webb has been a Consultant at St George’s University Hospital, where his elective practice focuses on hip and knee joint preservation and sports surgery. He also works in the Major Trauma Centre, treating patients with complex injuries.

He is actively involved in research and outcome monitoring, with over 25 publications and regular presentations at national and international conferences.
